About Jewnity Mexico
Jewnity is a program of Jewnity for Batya, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building a kinder, more accepting Jewish world through travel and adventure. This March, we're going to Mexico — to share a full Shabbos together, connect with a warm local Jewish community, and unwind with a few days of glamping at Attesi.
This trip is led by Eve Levy, Malka Blitz, and Amira Tashman.
Trip Dates: Tuesday, March 9 – Monday, March 15, 2027
Cost: $4,500 per participant (shared accommodation)
Mexico City
Mexico City is home to one of the largest and most established Jewish communities in Latin America. We'll be based in Polanco — the heart of Jewish Mexico City — with kosher meals throughout. Expect a folklórico evening and the chance to connect and share in a service alongside the local Jewish community.
A Glamping Escape
We'll spend a few days glamping at Attesi. Each canvas tent has a real bed, a fireplace, and a private full bathroom. The property is wrapped in nature — a natural spring-fed bath, organic gardens, an edible forest, forest walks, a hanging bridge, open-air pergolas with wide views, a library, and firepits. Walking surfaces are natural (gravel, grass, and garden paths), including at night, and March mountain nights are cool, so bring a warm layer.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Open-mindedness, flexibility and a positive attitude are essential to the Jewnity experience.
Be prepared for full, active days — from early morning to late at night — including walking, stairs, and time on your feet in varying weather. Mexico City involves walking and time at altitude.
Part of the trip takes place at a glamping property with natural walking surfaces and outdoor paths, including at night.
Pack light.
Come with a flexible mindset — travel often means embracing the unexpected, and itineraries are subject to change.
Be on time so we can keep the trip running smoothly.
Follow all safety guidance from the leaders.
If you have any mobility limitations, please talk with us before you apply so we can plan properly for you.
